the hill we die on
Manifesto
Curated Lies
F*CK PERFECTION
Everything in life has become curated. Other brands hide behind pastel bottles, sterile language and pseudoscience claims. They're boring. They're invisible. They’re peformative. Somewhere along the way, life stopped being a pursuit and became a performance. Everything is optimised. Everything is explained.Your food. Your fitness. Your skincare. Your coffee. Your sleep. Your water. Your career. Your dating life.Your watch. Your shoes. Your soap. it’s all trying to fix you.
THE WORST OFFENDER
WHY HYGIENE?
The health and wellness industry doesn’t sell health. It sells shortcuts and the feeling that you’re broken without them. That electrolyte brand isn’t going to undo the greasy burger you ate yesterday. And the mushroom powder won’t save your personality. Every claim promises a better version of you. None of them ever deliver. Because you’re human. The future isn’t built on pseudoscience labelled as “better for you”. It’s built on being more honest with you.
Not life changing, just hygiene.
WHY FILTH?
We chose hygiene because it’s boring and a universal category where bullshit still goes unchallenged. Hygiene exists for a reason. It’s not décor. It’s not therapy. And it’s not a virtue. Pretending otherwise is embarrassing. So we didn’t. FILTH doesn’t promise a better you. Or a cleaner soul. Or whatever today’s miracle ingredients are meant to fix. We make honest, self-aware, funny products and media that act like humans do. No pretending. No idealised perfection. No whispering about “wellness.”
If it’s boring, you’ll forget. If it’s FILTH, you won’t.
Be human, don’t live like a Pinterest board, and maybe, wash your hands every now and then. Stay filthy.
